Public Education Program
The Medicine Hat Women’s Shelter Society offers a Public Education and
Awareness Program which includes community presentations, displays and
information packages. The Public Education Coordinator is available for
presentations, information sessions, or in-service training workshops on
issues related to family violence and MHWSS services. Presentations are
often made to schools, businesses, hospitals, religious and
community groups, and various other community agencies. Requests for
information displays can also be accommodated at community events,
volunteer/job fairs, or other awareness opportunities.
This service is provided free of charge to the community and surrounding
region.
