November is Family Violence Prevention Month in Alberta! Join us at various community events and activities to help raise awareness and work to end family violence in our community.

- Medicine Hat Tepee & Towne Square lit up to be Purple, from November 1st to 7th
- 12th Annual Memorial Walk.
Monday, November 2nd @ Noon.
Join us at Medicine Hat City Hall for our annual walk to honour those impacted by Family Violence. We will be putting up purple ribbons around the downtown core. - Family Violence Prevention Month Declaration with Mayor.
On November 2nd the Mayor of Medicine Hat will be declaring November as “Family Violence Prevention Month.” - Medicine Hat City Council Presentation

MHWSS will be presenting to City Council about Family Violence Prevention Month and providing an update on our programming and services over the past year. - Foundations of Family Violence Community Training.
November 4th from 9am-Noon
A 3-hour in depth training on Family Violence for frontline staff who may encounter family violence with clients. Registration details TBA. - Community Coffee @ CFB Suffield’s Military Family Resource Centre.
November 12th @ 9:30am
For those in the community of Ralston, join in for a casual coffee conversation and presentation about MHWSS!
